One thing have I desired...

One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.  What powerful words!! What a desire!!!  What a request!!!!

Have you ever thought about what you desire the most?  Each of us desire something but rarely have a moment to think about it.  If you had a blank piece of paper and a pen, what would be your answer to this question?  Where would you go with that pen?  Would it be a short one-liner?  Would you need more than just a piece of paper?

Desire means a feeling that comes with an unsatisfied state.  It also means to expect and wish; to pursue, need and hope.  What brings true satisfaction in life?  Is it money, fame, possessions, or stuff?  Or does that just complicate things?  Life is complicated enough without adding to it. 

My challenge to you today is to identify what your desire is.  What is that which you so desperately seek after?  Once you discover this, it will show you much about yourself, your priorities, and your purpose.  Seek and you shall find...
